Christians Rush to Exploit Robin Williams’ Death

While media are reporting extremist Muslim tweets that say Robin Williams is in hell, (Buzzfeed: Jihadis Are Tweeting That They Hate Robin Williams), the Internet is rapidly filling with Christian columnists, bloggers and forums either condemning Robin or exploiting his death to advance religion:

Allen West, former U.S. Rep.:  The lesson we must learn from the passing of Robin Williams

… all the awards … mean nothing if God’s peace does not fill one’s life… “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” … that is what God touched me to understand in the death of Robin Williams — and He wanted me to share with you. After all, we can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens us. I pray that Robin came to know our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in those final moments…

Christian Post:  What Would Jesus Say to Robin Williams?  By JIM DENISON , CHRISTIAN POST COLUMNIST

What would Jesus say to Robin Williams, given the opportunity? … Jesus would want Williams to know … the source of that spark… Jesus would want Robin Williams to find hope in his Father’s love and grace…. in Christ we can find “strong encouragement to hold fast to the hope set before us” (Hebrews 6:18). I don’t know if Robin Williams ever received the significance, unconditional acceptance and hope offered to him by Jesus. But I do know that our Lord offers these gifts today, to you. [The last sentence is hotlinked to his own blog, titled “How can you meet Jesus personally?”]

Was Robin Williams an Atheist?  Cheryl Meril, Repented Christian

Robin Williams was very ignorant and political about God… I did a little research to discover Robin Williams was likely an atheist which makes sense why he gave up so easily on his life without reaching out to Almighty God… Robin Williams apparently lacked a real relationship with his Creator and never sought after God’s guidance in his life… This tragic outcome of Robin Williams’ life demonstrated that no matter how talented and influential one is, if they lack a sound spiritual foundation in Jesus Christ, they will perish and end up in eternal hell. There is only one way to heaven and that is by the narrow path of Jesus as revealed in His Word.

Sam Ward:  Robin Williams – Heaven or Hell?

Being world-famous doesn’t save anyone from Hell. Having a fortune in worldly wealth doesn’t purchase a place in heaven. God is not impressed with worldly fame, or great riches or professional talent. God sent His only begotten Son Jesus to die on the cross to pay for Robin Williams’ sins… God gave Robin Williams 63 years to accept the free gift of eternal life. Did he ever receive Jesus as his personal Saviour? If not, it is eternally too late for him. But it is not yet too late for you. Only Jesus Saves!

Austin Thompson:  Robin Williams, Death, Hell, and Denying Yourself

It’s so much easier to just think of Robin Williams as a man we saw, and see no longer, instead of an eternal soul who stood before God after he died today. It’s with great sadness that I am about to say this: Maybe Robin Williams is in Hell. We forget that he blasphemed God, used profane language, and planted dirty jokes in the minds of people… He needed to hear about the cross… and follow Jesus. Perhaps he had, maybe he was saved during his last days on earth. Only God knows… Unless Christ is our attorney, the verdict will be guilty… Eternity in Hell…

Pastor David Orrison

Once again we have been reminded of the desperate need of the human heart to be happy… By now we should understand that there are those who seek to find their own happiness in the happiness of others… Perhaps they think that if they can make us laugh, they will find joy for themselves. I won’t pretend to know Robin Williams or understand his demons, but I know that seeking health by making others laugh is a losing proposition… The narcissist, like the comic, can make those around him laugh, [but won’t] find joy or freedom or peace from their efforts. The darkness within is not overcome by their gifts… there is a core need for the love of God in our hearts…You cannot save yourself, but God—in Jesus—will save you… We cannot take our happiness from others. My prayer for all of us is that we would no longer seek to find our happiness in the looks or lives of those around us; but that we would find our joy in Jesus.

Christian Forums: Suicide, Sin, Robin Williams in Hell

Do you think Robin Williams is on fire screaming in torture right now?

Christian Forums: Robin Williams is Dead

“This thread has undergone a cleanup. Please be respectful of the deceased and not hurtful to others who may wish to pay their respects.” [I saw it — it was a massive cleanup this morning. Here’s what’s left]

it is obvious that he was ignoring God’s call. He helped pervert society and committed suicide.

Like I said, I hope God forgives him, but reading the Scripture – it is not all that probable (yet possible). Robin Williams should be mentioned as a WARNING to the youth of what perversion does to one’s mind.

I am wondering why all the innocents having their blood shed are not being mentioned in the news while celebrities are worshiped.

Sadly Robin Williams is in Hell

I don’t believe he made it into eternity with God in heaven

i hope he knew Jesus.

Unfortunately I have seen videos of him doing his stand-up routine where he mocks God and the Bible.

I don’t believe a person who commits suicide can be saved, and I do believe they forfeit their salvation if they were saved in the first place. It is a wilful sin that they aren’t able to repent of, so they die with spot on their garment. I don’t believe he was a Christian to begin with

I always was told suicide gets you to hell immediately. You won’t be saved.

1 Cor 10:13 “No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it.”
… I believe that no matter how bad, suicide is still a choice. A selfish choice as the person is not doing this for their family, or God, but for themselves.

Suicide is a sin. Understanding the verse when the sin is suicide, no person will be tempted beyond what they can bear. So, the temptation for a person to take their own life, is not so bad, that a person must follow thru with the sin. If the verse is right, a person still has a choice whether to sin/commit suicide or not.

… If we say the person could not help it because of their mental state and disease, then we are saying God is a liar. No Christian is ever tempted beyond what they can bear. No Christian is tempted due to their illness to commit suicide and they are unable to stop it… God does not allow something so bad to happen in a persons life, that suicide is their only choice.

Tea Party News Network

Does anyone know for sure that Robin Williams had accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior?

The faux jew who trashed White Christian Americans? Yawn.

How selfish and self serving thing to do…. Start by doing one good unselfish deed a day… suiside is NEVER a solution to a problem that CAN be changed. Peace and Blessings

Actors are nothing more than professional liars. “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” Revelation 21:8. In fact, many actors openly profess that they are possessed by other spirits while in role, and Robin Williams is no exception. “There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the Lord.” Deuteronomy 18:10-12

One thought on “Christians Rush to Exploit Robin Williams’ Death

  1. My goodness. I always love how Christians parade about with the “get out of hell” card of calling Jesus “Lord” on one’s deathbed. So the most vile creatures inhabit Heaven, while good people whose only “faults” were not having evidence to believe, and so an eternal punishment for finite crimes.

Satan is the good guy, I think.
